Last updated: 10/15/2024

This Terms of Service describes how A New Beginnings Travel (“travel agent", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and discloses your personal information when you visit, use our services, or make a purchase from anewbeginningstravel.com (the "travel agent ") or otherwise communicate with us (collectively, the "Services"). For purposes of this Terms of Service Policy, "you" and "your" means you as the user of the Services, whether you are a customer, website visitor, or another individual whose information we have collected pursuant to this Terms of Service Policy.

By choosing A New Beginnings Travel to plan your vacation, you signify your agreement with the following terms and conditions:

1. Travel Documents: You agree to review your itinerary and other travel documents for accuracy and to inform us promptly of any issues. The names on your documents must match your government-issued ID.

2. Check-in & Departure Responsibilities: It is strongly recommended that you check in a minimum of 2 hours prior to scheduled departure for domestic flights and 3 hours prior to scheduled departure for international flights. It is the traveler’s responsibility to reconfirm flight times at least 24-72 hours prior to scheduled flights. Travel agent does not assume responsibility for any air or schedule changes. Certain countries require departure taxes that require payment in cash. *Recommended check in times are subject to change without notification. It is the traveler’s responsibility to remain abreast of changes in condition or airport rules that might require earlier arrival times. This information can be found when entering your confirmation number on the airline website.

3. Group Bookings

 When travelers do not live at the same address, the travel agent will correspond with the initial group leader (the person who made the first contact) throughout the quote process.

 The group leader will be responsible for communicating the details of the quote and/or any agent questions to the rest of the group.

 The travel agent is not responsible for any dissatisfaction with the itinerary by group members: the group leader accepts responsibility for checking the itinerary.  By agreeing to move forward with the deposits, the group leader acknowledges that all parties have been informed of necessary details.

 All quotes assume that travelers will arrive at destinations together.  If travelers arrive separately on different flights, they will be responsible for the additional cost of airport transfers.

4. Agent for Suppliers: A New Beginnings Travel acts as a sales agent for any airline, hotel, car-rental company, tour operator, cruise line, or other service provider named in your itinerary or confirmation ("Suppliers"). We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of the Suppliers or their failure to adhere to their own schedules, provide services or refunds, financial default, or failure to honor future trip credits. We have no special knowledge regarding the financial condition of the Suppliers and no liability for recommending a trip credit in lieu of a refund.

5. Risks of Travel and Release: We assume no responsibility for and shall not be liable for the acts or omissions on the part of any other party not under our control or any acts of God, unsafe conditions, terrorism, health hazards including pandemics, illness, weather hazards, or the suitability for a disabled person of any portion of any trip. We have no special knowledge of dangers during travel or at destinations. For information related to such dangers, we recommend going to the State Department travel website at travel.state.gov, click on "Find International travel Information" then click on "Country Information", and fill in the name of the destination country. For medical and health information, we recommend going to the Centers for Disease Control website at cdc.gov/travel, then click on "Destinations" and scroll to the name of the destination country. It is your personal decision to travel, and you are doing so with full knowledge of current travel recommendations and travel restrictions with regards to the risks of COVID-19. YOU HEREBY EXPRESSLY ASSUME ALL OF THESE RISKS AND DANGERS, AND YOU HEREBY EXPRESSLY AGREE TO FOREVER RELEASE, DISCHARGE AND HOLD US, AND OUR AGENTS, EMPLOYEES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, ASSOCIATES, AFFILIATED COMPANIES, GUIDES, GROUP LEADERS, AND SUBCONTRACTORS HARMLESS AGAINST ANY AND ALL LIABILITY, ACTIONS, CAUSES OF ACTIONS, SUITS, CLAIMS, AND DEMANDS OF ANY AND EVERY KIND AND NATURE WHATSOEVER WHICH YOU NOW HAVE OR WHICH MAY HEREAFTER ARISE OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THESE RISKS AND DANGERS.

6. Entry & Re-entry Rules: You assume full and complete responsibility for checking and verifying any and all passport, visa, vaccination, or other entry requirements of your destination and your connecting points, and all conditions regarding health, safety, security, political stability, and labor or civil unrest at such destination. Make sure to note rules are subject to change whether your travels are foreign or domestic. Many countries require your passport to be valid for six months or more after your date of entry. Go to: travel.state.gov for more information.                                                                                                                                           Some countries require both parents’ consent for minors to travel. Some countries will not admit persons convicted of a crime.

7. Fees and Price Drops: We do not guarantee any refunds or successful rebooking.

8. Price Increases: Travel arrangements involving airline and cruise components are subject to Suppliers' supplemental price increases that may be imposed by the supplier and/or government, even after you have completed your purchase. Suppliers have their own contracts covering cancellation penalties and other terms and conditions, and you may be bound by those contracts regardless of whether you receive notice of their terms.

9. Reservation Rule Violations: You agree not to purchase a ticket or tickets containing flight segments that you will not be using, such as a "point-beyond", "hidden-city", or "back-to-back tickets". You further agree not to purchase a round-trip ticket that you plan to use only for one-way travel. You acknowledge that the airlines generally prohibit purchasing a ticket or tickets containing flight segments that you will not be using, or a round-trip ticket that you plan to use only for one-way travel. A New Beginnings Travel cannot guarantee that the airline will honor your ticket or tickets. If you do not use one of the flights in your reservation, the airline will cancel your remaining itinerary, and it may confiscate your frequent flyer points. You agree to indemnify A New Beginnings Travel against airline claims for the difference between the full fare of your actual itinerary and the value of the ticket or tickets that you purchased.

10. Insurance: Travel agent is not responsible nor liable for any error, omission, injury, property loss, accident, act of terrorism, disappointment, or any other unforeseeable event. Travel agent is not responsible for missed connections, schedule changes, aircraft changes, or trip interruption. For your protection, we strongly recommend that you purchase trip cancellation and travel accident insurance. Please note that most policies have a specific clause stating they do not cover epidemics and pandemics, especially when travel warnings are in place. No representation or description of the insurance made by our staff constitutes a binding assurance or promise about the insurance. You agree to hold us harmless for your election not to purchase travel insurance or for any denial of claim by travel insurer as it relates to COVID-19 or any other claim under the policy.

11. Concierge and Optional Services: The travel agent is not liable/responsible for any reservations the client has made directly with the resort/hotel/tour company/ship, such as: dining reservations, concierge requests, upgraded rooms/airline seats, independently booked tours, private guides, and so on.   In certain circumstances the travel agent may assist with restaurant recommendations and/or limited reservations for special events.  In the event that the traveler cannot attend these events once their trip has begun, the traveler is responsible for contacting the in-country partner to cancel or change the reservation themselves.    The travel agent will do her best to assist but is not liable for any cancellation fees or delay in processing changes/cancellations.

12. Gratuities and Other Additional Fees: Wherever possible, the travel agent will attempt to inform the client of any additional costs such as hotel taxes payable upon check in or resort fees.  Hotel taxes may appear on travel vouchers at time of confirmation and are not always able to be shown during the initial quote.

The travel agent is not responsible for any omissions of additional fees during the     quote process.  These types of fees include:

 Gratuities to guides, hotel staff, or drivers

 Mandatory onboard service charges/gratuities for cruises

 City taxes payable directly at the hotel (very common in Europe)

 Costs for transport to/from the airport if traveler did not include transfers in quote

 Breakfasts or other meals at hotels unless they are specifically included in quote

Travel agent is not responsible for any increases due to fuel surcharges, government imposed taxes/fees or supplier-imposed increases.

13. Credit Card Merchant: We also strongly recommend that you use a credit card for your purchase, so that you can exercise your rights under the Fair Credit Billing Act if you do not receive the services you purchased. However, if we are the credit card merchant, our role is to facilitate the sale, collect funds on your behalf, and remit those funds to the Suppliers. If the Suppliers do not provide the services, your only recourse would be against the Suppliers, and you agree not to initiate a chargeback against us.
